Hi, I am Asheen Panakkat.
I am a seasoned professional who believes in delivering higher value to my clients. My clear focus is on the needs of clients and my constant endeavor is to work and deliver projects on time and within budget.I also believe in maintaining a transparent, responsive and healthy relationship with clients at all levels. My project portfolio includes successful projects in diverse sectors such as residential, commercial, technology parks, industrial, institutional and infrastructure. My commitment is to deliver the best projects safely and efficiently, while constantly redefining industry best practice.
My Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering (BTech Civil)
- Regional Engineering College (REC), Calicut.
- MBA (Finance) from Symbiosis, Pune.

Experience
Out of the total experience of 16 years, I have spent 12 years in the middle east and these were the years when middle east was experiencing an infrastructure boom. I am fortunate of having worked with the best companies of the industry and getting involved in several high profile and high budget projects. After returning to India, I worked with on of India's prestigious construction companies - Choice Constructions, Kochi as the Head of Construction and Planning.
Some of my notable contributions have been:
Tall Rise Building Experience:

Dubai Marina Phase 2 Towers, Majara Towers (5 towers over 120m) & Sahab Towers (2 towers over 180m)
Worked for M/s. HOK Dubai and was the Job Captain for the project in charge of review of materials and design development/ shop drawings, . Was directly involved in the scheming and finalizing of Control Apartment finishes which was later accepted as the yardstick for quality (workmanship & materials) for the other 1100 apartments/villas in the whole project.
Emirates Hotel Tower (305 m), Dubai
Worked for the main contractor M/s. Besix – Ssangyong J.V. and was involved in the project from the raft stage (substructure) to the structural steel topping (spire), Architectural mock up stage through snagging to the handing over of the project.
Burj Dubai (818 m)
Worked for M/s. Hyder Consulting as Asst. Resident Engineer (A.R.E.) and was assigned for the site structural supervision part of the Tower. Contributed to the mobilization of the works (Concrete mix design approvals) through to the achievement of 3 day cycle sequence for shear walls and slab segments. Involved in the approval of day to day inspection of works and review of materials and shop drawings. At the time of leaving the project the tower measured ~ 270 m (L72) with all the logistics and construction methods in place.
23 Marina Project (400m)
Worked as M/s. Dubai Civil Engineering (Main Contractors’) Project Manager. At the time of leaving the project was at Typical floor stage with full mobilization, logistics finalization incl. cranes and placing boom complete.
Choice Paradise Project (122m)
The Structural works of the Project was completed in an unbelievable 2 years time including piling in Kochi – India. Was instrumental in setting up Project team responsible for Project schedule, methods, quality and cost control.Commercial Experince
